The volume should be lowered to allow for the voice to not robot the voice.

Thats not the problem, the problem is the loud voice is causing issues for the RVC causing the voice to sound robotic.

It may be better off having the song done in normal or slightly loud volume then boost it in post for a better result that isn't as robotic.
