Japanese seiyuu from Tokyo. In 2009, he won Best Rookie Actor at the 3rd Seiyuu Awards alongside Okamoto Nobuhiko. In 2013 and 2014, he won Best Actor in a Leading Role at the 7th and 8th Seiyuu Awards. He is mostly known for portraying Nishikata in Teasing Master Takagi-san (2018+), Meliodas in The Seven Deadly Sins (2014+), Eren Yeager in Attack on Titan (2013+), Haruyuki Arita in Accel World (2012+), and Issei Hyd in High School DxD (2012+). He is also well-known for portraying Shto Todoroki in My Hero Academia (2016+) and Kenma Kozume in Haiky!! (2014+).
