He was a mighty demon swordsman who is known as the Legendary Dark Knight (伝説の魔剣士 Densetsu no Makenshi?, lit. "Legendary Demon Swordsman"). Two thousand years prior to modern times, he "woke up to justice" and defeated Mundus and his legions alone. When sealing the netherworld, sensing his power had grown too strong, he intentionally sealed himself and his own demonic power in as well.[1]

Frank (弗兰克) is a character in Devil May Cry: Peak of Combat. He is a member of the guardian family, brother of Locke and uncle of Faye. He acts as the boss of the game's Chapter 8. Frank seems capable of moving at superhuman speeds. Frank fights with a sword and a gun and employs smoke bombs in combat.

Sanctus, more commonly known by his followers as "His Holiness", is the leader of the Order of the Sword, the Vicar of Sparda, a previous Supreme General of the Holy Knights and the main antagonist of Devil May Cry 4.[1] As the leader of Fortuna, he is behind all of the actions of the Order, and is the mastermind of their plot to conquer the world using The Savior. He is considered one of the greatest leaders of the Order, and has the total loyalty of the populace.[1]

Lucia, also known as χ (Chi), is a mannequin demon created by Arius. She later defected from him and became a member of the Protectors clan, adopted by Matier as her daughter and apprentice to be trained as a Devil Hunter. She later worked alongside Dante to defeat both Arius and Argosax.[3] She appears in Devil May Cry 2 as one of the main protagonists and a playable character.
