Kimmy Eckman (born June 22, nicknamed "Twinkie Toes") is a character in the Backyard Sports series, who is the sugar addict of the group. Kimmy is a short red-haired girl with pigtails. Her pigtails have ribbons tied to the ends. She has freckles on her face as well as green eyes. She wears a yellow shirt and light brown shorts and pants. Kimmy is a tough and aggressive girl with an addiction to sweets. Sometimes she can be mean; for example, she calls Reese Worthington “a nerd” and “Reese Worthlessness” (stated in Backyard Soccer), though she admits that she was joking. Another example, she is a bully to Maria Luna because she destroys her stuffed ponies. Kimmy is a tomboy who dislikes girly stuff such as dresses. Maria once offered to give Kimmy a homemade pink dress, but Kimmy refused, saying that she was "allergic to pink." She loves to get dirty when playing sports and hides candy when her mother told her that she wasn't supposed to eat any. Kimmy is best friends with Jocinda Smith and Dante Robinson. Kimmy, the candy monster, has a lot of heart and a little skill. She's got a good arm and can hit for power too. Fueled by massive amounts of candy, this little fireball can add a spark to your lineup. Kimmy's got a good arm and some pop in her bat. Unfortunately, when her sugar supply runs low, so does she. To tell the truth, Kimmy is probably only allowed in the league because her backyard (Eckman Acres) is such a great field.
