Tupac Amaru Shakur, better known by his stage names 2Pac and Makaveli, was an American rapper and actor who is widely considered one of the most influential and successful rappers of all time. Born on June 16, 1971, in East Harlem, New York, and raised primarily in California, Tupac's music often addressed contemporary social issues, particularly those affecting African American communities. Tupac's career began in the early 1990s, and he quickly rose to fame with his powerful lyrics, distinct voice, and charismatic presence. His most famous albums include "2Pacalypse Now," "Strictly 4 My N.I.G.G.A.Z...," "Me Against the World," "All Eyez on Me," and "The Don Killuminati: The 7 Day Theory." In addition to his music career, Tupac was also known for his acting roles in films such as "Juice," "Poetic Justice," "Above the Rim," "Gridlock'd," and "Gang Related."
