Phred (Noggin)

Description

Phred is Noggin's original mascot. He is the yellowish-green star of Phred on Your Head Show and The URL with Phred Show, two variety series that ran daily on Noggin in its first three years. Each day, he hops across different people's heads to find a kid who will help him host Noggin. He is wisecracking and self-confident, and he likes to make jokes, sometimes at the expense of his announcer friend Big Voice. He talks with a Brooklyn accent. Phred's favorite food is fried chicken, which he spells "phried" chicken. Despite his quirkiness, Phred always finds a way to connect to his volunteer co-host (a child) and make them laugh.
