voice provided by country singer Willie Nelson, Burnt Oak is a male Earth pony and a supporting character who first appears in the season seven episode The Perfect Pear. He is a firewood salespony and an old friend of Brignt Mac. He tells Big McIntosh, Applejack and Apple Bloom his past with their father Bright Mac, namely the experience of him and Bright Mac accidentally breaking the Pear family's silo. After Big Mac asks if he and his sisters can ask Burnt Oak more about Bright Mac, Burnt Oak tears up gratefully and accepts Big Mac's request. He is also shown to have attended Bright Mac and Pear Butter's wedding in Mayor Mare's flashback.
