Description

Vapor Trail is a female Pegasus pony and Wonderbolts cadet. She first appears in the season six episode “Top Bolt” as an applicant to the Wonderbolt Academy, introduced as the timid and soft-spoken best friend and wingpony of Sky Stinger. With the voice provided by Naoko Yamano a member of the japaneese pop punk band Shonen Knife. Being timid and soft-spoken, Vapor Trail initially does not think highly of herself. She does not like attention due to her overaffectionate parents and always prioritizes Sky Stinger's happiness over her own well-being. Under Rainbow Dash's guidance, Vapor learns to be honest with Sky Stinger while also prioritizing her own needs as well. She is a soft-spoken young Pegasus who starts her Wonderbolts trial week helping her best friend, Sky Stinger, perform his tricks...at the cost of her own flying ability. She learns that being a Wonderbolt really is important to her, and dedicates herself to improving her own flying, earning a spot at the Academy.
