Wind Rider (My Little Pony - Friendship Is Magic)

Description

Wind Rider is a male Pegasus pony and the antagonist of the season five episode Rarity Investigates!. With voice provided by Dire Straits's lead singer Mark Knofler. He is a retired member of the Wonderbolts who frames Rainbow Dash for a crime to preserve his long-distance speed record. Wind Rider initially presents himself as charismatic and approachable. However, his niceness is only a ruse to conceal his true nature as a scheming, dishonest liar. He is arrogant, having no care for his fellow Wonderbolts, proven by him framing Rainbow Dash for a crime she did not commit out of spite and jealousy just to preserve his record. He brags that he can play dirty sometimes to be the best. His arrogance is proven to be his own downfall, as he underestimates Rainbow's loyalty for the Wonderbolts.
