Being a con artist, Simian rarely looks out for anyone other than himself, unless it furthers his goals. Even after the team and Eunice saved his home world from being taken over by DNAliens, he took it as an opportunity to steal and sell a DNA Repair Gun to the Incurseans.[2] Simian is very conniving, often constructing elaborate plans to make a profit. He is skilled at manipulating others, such as acting meek in front of Ben to gain his trust, feeding into Deefus' ego, or pressuring Hokestar with the threat of his show getting cancelled.[3] Despite Ben and his team often foiling his schemes, Simian outwardly appears to harbor no ill will towards them, and instead puts on a suave demeanor. Similarly, he was subservient to Argit while working under him until he was out of earshot.[4
