Megatronus Prime, better known as The Fallen, is the unseen overarching antagonist of the 2007 science fiction action film Transformers, the fist installment in Paramount Pictures‘ Transformers film series, and the titular main antagonist of its 2009 sequel, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. He was originally one of the original Primes who went rogue when he gave into his greedy ambitions for power, but was thwarted by his brothers and imprisoned for his actions. He later founded the Decepticons through manipulation, becoming the master of Megatron. With a new army of his to command, he seeks to obtain power and rule the universe by harvesting the energy of stars of destroying suns, wiping out all life on many worlds in the process. In the films, he was voiced by the late Tony Todd, who also played Candyman in the franchise of the same name, Grange in The Crow, Captain Darrow in The Rock, Earl Jenkins in Smallville, King Deucalion in Minotaur, Shadow in Shadow: Dead Riot, Benjamin Juma in the 24 franchise, Reverend Zombie in the Hatchet film series, Dreadwing in Transformers: Prime, Darkseid in the LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes film series, Zoom in the Arrowverse, Space Kook in Be Cool, Scooby-Doo!, Darkseid in the DC Animated Movie Universe, Luther Thompson in Scream, William in Tales from the Hood 3 and Venom in Marvel's Spider-Man 2.
