The Super Soldier is a robot built by Oscorp that appears as an enemy in Spider-Man: The Movie. They function as security guards in Oscorp Tower, marching out in groups to hunt and eliminate intruders with their in-built laser blasters. The Super Soldiers appear as enemies in Spider-Man: The Movie, where they are encountered as enemies in the levels set in Oscorp Tower. When the player enters their line of sight, they will attack the player by firing rapid lasers and rockets. During their appearances in Breaking and Entering and Chemical Chaos, they will appear when the player triggers an alarm and move to the location where the player was spotted before searching the area. Their speed is noticeably increased in Chemical Chaos, and in Hero and Superhero they will continue patrolling the level even after the alarm turns off. In Escape From Oscorp they will always know the player's position, and will pursue the player throughout the level. The Super Soldiers appear in three levels. In Breaking and Entering, four Super Soldiers wait in a dead-zone in the lower section of the area, warping to various spawn points throughout the level whenever an alarm is triggered. The Super Soldiers will respawn infinitely on death. The number of Super Soldiers in Chemical Chaos varies by the difficulty; two in Easy, three in Normal and four in Hero and SuperHero. In Escape From Oscorp, four Super Soldiers will appear at the beginning from spawn points to pursue the player even after killed, and others appear in set locations in the player's route. Who doesn't remember those little mechanical and cybernetic devils that you used to catch at Oscorp? Now you can use them! And go back to your childhood nightmares! Yes, a dream come true!
