"Let's play Super Mario Bros 2 nostalgically" is a video made by Psychedelic Eyeball. The entire video is a parody and satire of Nostalgia Critic's video of the game Bart's Nightmare, which is considered one of Doug's worst videos. The video is styled as a Super Mario Bros 2: The Lost Levels let's play, but done in a style very similar to Doug's review of Bart's Nightmare, purposely playing badly and losing on purpose. During the video, Eyeball mimics Doug's personality, screaming at various points and using random sound effects whenever he gets angry, often losing to various enemies and often forgetting about the effect of the poison mushrooms. Towards the end of the video, Eyeball also decides to cheat, speeding up the game in order to win the level, but ends up dying due to a poison mushroom. The video ends with Eyeballs slowing down the video and hypnotizing the viewer, trying to make them admit that they actually liked the video.
