Chuck 'Captain Concussion' Downfield is the color commentator for Football in most of the Backyard Football games (with exception of Rookie Rush). He also interviewed the Football players and was a pain magnet for the TV special, Backyard Basics. Chuck was a former Backyard Football Player (Like Barry Dejay and Buddy Cheque). He was diagnosed with a career ending Charley-horse injury. He played Quarterback and won 1 BFL Championship after the opposing team came down with chicken pox, He also was voted into BFL's hall of fame at 9 1/2 years old and had a 5 year long career. He gets a Freddi Fish T-Shirt for working color commentator and enjoys working alongside Sunny Day.
