Wataru Hoshi is a member of the Star Trigon Team and is the main central character of Star Trigon, a spinoff of the Mr. Driller series. He is the son of Haruya Hoshi and Sima Hori, with a little sister named Yuna. He married Kea Sark, the twin sister of Keel Sark. He has a cat companion named Pachee. He was born on August 8 ,1986. He is 34. Wataru Hoshi is a Japanese teenager always ready for action. Wataru Hoshi enjoys feasting on Mille Crepes. He is voiced by Luke Roberts, a member of Hi-5 UK. Wataru Hoshi is only playable in Star Trigon and it's ports; Wataru Hoshi's only direct appearance in the Mr. Driller series is through a cameo in Drill Land. Much like Susumu Hori in the Mr. Driller series, Wataru Hoshi is considered the "balanced" character of Star Trigon, with average air consumption, starting speed, and acceleration rate. Wataru Hoshi's name in Japanese (Hoshi Wataru) means "Across the star(s)." He often has to look out for his little sister Yuna, because she has the tendency to get into trouble quite a bit. He doesn't mind this, however, since he cares about her dearly and would do almost anything for her Even though Kea's twin brother Keel often feels the need to fight with him for marrying his sister, Wataru still treats him with respect and equality because he wouldn't want to ruin his image of himself in front of Kea
