Description

Megatron (Gigatron in the original Japanese version), later known as Galvatron, is the main antagonist of the Transformers anime Transformers: Robots in Disguise (2001). He is the leader of the Predacons and the archenemy of Optimus Prime who came to Earth to discover the location of the battlestation Fortress Maximus, to use as his ultimate weapon in conquest, and defeating the Autobots. Initially, Megatron would often sit back from a conflict and allow his subordinates to do the dirty work, but as Galvatron, he would become more active. While arrogant, diabolical, and manipulative Megatron was also incompetent and unprofessional, as most of his schemes were badly planned and badly executed.
