Haruya Hoshi (星 春や) is an OC created by Whitney Larson. He is Sima Hori's husband and the father of Wataru and Yuna Hoshi. He is the main protagonist of the Galaga Incident. He was born on November 2, 1957. He is 63 years old. He is voiced by Colin McFarlane Haruya has a very down-to-earth, leader-like personality, even though he was a space pilot in Galaga. He is very rational and level-headed, always thinking before acting, although he doesn't mind taking a risk when necessary. Being a ship commander in the Galaga Incident, it was natural for him to take control of almost everything he did during his missions. He was a very good pilot, and still likes to fly around once in a while to reminisce his space days. He is very proud of his children for what they have accomplished in their lives, especially with Wataru joining the Star Trigon team. His name Haruya (春や) means "spring" in Japanese, His entire name literally translates to "Star spring", but it would idiomatically mean "Star of spring" (星 春や) He met his wife Sima on a mission where she was being attacked and she got cornered, so he rushed to save her. They dated for a couple years, and then got married Even though he has a more down-to-earth personality, Haruya still likes to try and be a fun dad and uncle to his children and nephews (Ataru, Susumu, and Taiyo)
