Bernie Barges (Corneil and Bernie)

Description

A pinheaded teenage "dog-sitter" who befriends the intelligent talking dog, Corneil. Bernie discovers Corneil's secret ability to speak and write English, and their unlikely friendship is often driven by Corneil's attempts to keep his secret hidden while Bernie exploits it for his own benefit.
