DarkWing (Transformers One 2024)

Description

Darkwing in Transformers One (2024) is a blue-and-purple Cybertronian jet who serves as Sentinel Prime’s intimidating enforcer. He’s in charge of supervising Energon miners in Iacon, keeping them in line through fear and bullying. Arrogant and short-tempered, Darkwing belittles those he sees as beneath him, but is secretly insecure about his own status. Throughout the film, he clashes with Orion Pax, D-16, and Elita-1, notably firing Elita-1 after a mining accident and later sending Orion and D-16 to a dangerous sub-level as punishment. He’s best known for his booming, dramatic voice—especially when shouting “MINERS!”—and ends up humiliated when Orion defeats him late in the story. He is voiced by Isaac C. Singleton Jr., whose deep, commanding tone adds to the character’s menacing presence.
