Description

Ripper Roo made another appearance in CTR as a boss and unlockable character. His track is “Roo's Tubes.” While racing, he constantly throws TNTs onto the track. After defeating him, he gives you the first of four keys needed to compete with Oxide. Ripper Roo's kart in the game was orange and was enabled to handle sharp turns at a slightly lower speed than normal, like Polar and Pura's karts. He has almost the same stats as Crash, but is much better at Acceleration and Turning. He can be unlocked by completing the Red Gem Cup in adventure mode. He can also be unlocked by pressing the L1 and R1 buttons simultaneously while pressing right, circle, circle, down, up, down, and right in the main menu. In the epilogue, he has been elected state governor (to everyone's surprise) with the slogan “The crazy thing is that it drives him crazy!” Rumor has it that he is also a candidate for president.
