Kate is a friend of Dora's. She enjoys playing dress up and wearing fancy costumes. Kate is a girl talented at writing and has a big imagination filled with creativity. She loves acting and not just that but she's a pro too! Kate is the most artistic and creative of the Explorer Girls. She is an artist, actress, and puppeteer. Kate often puts on her own puppet shows and makes all of the artwork for them herself, as shown in the episode "Kate Gives Puppets a Hand." She is also a skilled painter, as shown in the theme song for Dora and Friends. Personality: Kate is a sweet person who doesn't mind helping the community. She is lovely, generous, kind and cute. Appearances She first appeared in "Dora Saves the Crystal Kingdom." She later became a recurring character, appearing as one of the Explorer Girls in "Our First Concert" and Dora and Friends: Into the City!. She is voiced by Isabela Moner. Her younger self was voiced by Cassady Leonard in "Dora Saves the Crystal Kingdom" and Sofia Singer in "Let's Go to Music School". Biography Kate is an aspiring artist and performer who loves to draw pictures, tell stories, and perform in stage shows. The Nick Jr. website describes her as "artistic, dramatic, and has a colorful personality." Kate first appeared in "Dora Saves the Crystal Kingdom." In the episode, Dora, Boots, and Allie were on a quest to find the yellow crystal in the Dragon Land story. Suddenly, they saw a female knight who was finding a dragon using a sword. Dora got a rope from Backpack to take away the sword. The knight was amazed and the Dragon smiled. After that, Dora, Boots, and Allie learned that the knight's name was Kate. They asked Kate if they saw a crystal. Kate said "Alas, I have not," but the Dragon knew where it was. So, Dora, Boots, and Allie got a dragon ride to find the crystal stuck on the cliff face. The Dragon used his fire breath to open the cliff face and release the crystal. The Dragon dove down so that they can catch the crystal. And that's how Dora, Boots, and Allie first met Kate. Looks Kate has red hair-different from others and the only one with glamorous light blue eyes to match. She has a block of hair that she tied. She like to wear bright clothes for her bright personality. Kate wears purple leggings and a fun blue dress. She wears her red flower necklace. Kate has red hair, (with a bit tied up in three beads,) blue eyes, and cream colored skin. Kate is usually seen in a sky blue dress with purple edging, a periwinkle undershirt, purple leggings, and lavender and white shoes. Kate met her lookalike character named Princess Maribel in the episode "The Princess and The Kate". Kate's puppy is named Roja. (Spanish for red) Kate is sometimes called 'Katie' by her friends. Her last appearance was in Alana's Food Truck. She does not appear in the series finale, Shivers the Snowman.
