Pepito is a faun villain who specializes in music and magic, As a faun, he is a half boy and half goat. He is also Tomás Montes' arch-enemy and is one of the six Main Antagonists (Alongside with Bonnie Bones, Sir Butterscotch, Enrique Réal de Palacios III, Primera & Escarlata La Pirata) of Santiago of the Seas. History Almost all of Pepito's history is currently unknown. He has been living in forest of Isla Encanto, most likely unknown to everyone until Tomás Montes was lured his clearing and met with him for the first time in A Tale of Two-más. Pepito originally befriended Tomas due to their shared love of music, but Pepito tricks him to steal his appearance so that he can go into Larimar to steal voices. He is later thwarted by Tomas, Kiko, Santiago, and Lorelai. He promises revenge on the Pirate Protectors over this incident. Since then, Pepito has had a few more encounters with Santiago's Crew- mostly to try and steal items related to the music he loves. In Chickarney Island, he attempts to steal the royal drum of the Chickarney queen and in The Pirate Party, he tries to steal a magical shell disco ball that Lorelai had created. Personality Pepito is very mischievous, sneaky and a trickster by nature. He can be very friendly and charming at first glance but usually has an ulterior motive hidden away. Unlike the other villains, he doesn't usually use brute force to intimidate others to do his bidding, but charms and flatters them to be on his side before deceiving them such as with Tomás Montes and Escarlata La Pirata. Or he will use stealth and sneaky methods such as shapeshifting, teleporting, sneaking into place such as stowing away in El Bravo or hiding in the rafters of the museum. Brute force such as using his leaf or music magic is usually the last option when the tricks are up. He seems to have no preference to who he is willing to trick in his schemes- he was perfectly happy tricking Escarlata as he was tricking the heroes. He loves to sing and often bursts into song. He seems to enjoys playful teasing (especially towards Tomás), even during fights. Though he will go through emotional bursts when he loses, either with anger (Such as in A Tale of Two-más) or going tearful (as in Chickarney Island and The Pirate Party.) Abouts Pepito's lute is his main instrument of choice out of all in his collection. He uses it while singing with Tomas and during their music battle. Like Tomas' guitar, it can shoot blast of magical energy at Pepito's command. Pepito can usually be seen playing the lute whenever he is relaxing as seen in The Pirate Party and The Secret Room. It is decorated with leaf imagery and even has small twigs for tuners. Since he is faun, he has goat ears (one with a notch) and tiny blue horns. His bottom half is full goat with a dark furred, hooved legs and a long, fluffy tail. He wears blue overalls. When he shapeshifts, he is identical to the person except that his eyes and voice remain the same. The leaves in the hair will still remain as well. Trivia He consider Tomás his Arch-enemy. He is the first new villain introduced for Season 2 He is the second half creature/human villain to be introduced, the first being Escarlata La Pirata He is the favorite character of one of the Storyboard directors of Season 2. Is heavily implied to be an LGBTQ character.
