Ronny "Spud" Dobbs (born August 10th) was a character in the Backyard Sports series. At the age of five, Ronny is the third-youngest kid in the league. He had a rounded head, skinny legs, and a small body. He wore a yellow short-sleeved t-shirt and pink shorts. His shorts changed to blue in 1998 and red in 2001. Ronny Dobbs does not like being little and hates to be bossed around by his older sister Sally. He wants to prove to everyone that he's a big kid. Ronny likes to be treated like a big kid and once you see him in action, you'll think he deserves it. Ronny's strong arm is a bit of a surprise for such a little fellow. Don't let Ronny's small size fool you... he can pack quite the wallop if he gets the right pitch. He's also not too shabby in the pitching department. One word of advice though - he prefers not to play on the same team as his sister, Sally.
